A few years ago, I had almost enough United Airlines frequent flyer miles to get myself a round-trip ticket anywhere in the continental U.S. Then, one day, when I was about to use them, the miles expired. I called United immediately asking if they could please reinstate the miles, considering my loyalty as a customer (and the fact that the miles had expired only the day before). They said for $450 they would (and explained that $450 equaled 10 cents per mile reinstated, plus a $100 re-activation fee). I said that was ridiculous and haven't flown with them since.Frankly, I think I deserve those miles back. And I'm going to write them a letter telling them so.
But not before I put one of these wonderful, new rubber pads in my favorite eyelash curler. That's right, they've finally arrived, just as Revlon promised. Thank you, Revlon!!!! I am so excited to be able to get more use out of my fabulous eyelash curler, with a little help from you!
