As you can see, I am dedicating this week to asking for something a little different: autographed photographs from my favorite celebrities.These requests are very special to me, and so I've decided to do all of my asking this week through hand-written letters, with stamps included for return postage.
Today's letter was to Burt Reynolds, an actor who I like just fine, but who my boyfriend is CRAZY about. He's loved Mr. Reynolds's for as long as he can remember and has seen The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas about a hundred times. He's also made many attempts to grow a mustache a la Smokey and the Bandit.
Since his birthday is coming up in a couple months, I asked Mr. Reynolds to send him an autographed picture as a present. I can't imagine a better gift. I really hope he comes through!
