The Week Of Asking Box Stores: Letter to Wal-Mart

Today's letter:

Dear Wal-Mart,

You've done a lot of things over the years that have upset me, particularly with regard to workers' rights, workers' safety, and music censoring.

But lately, you have been doing something that even I can't help but applaud: you've tried to be a little more environmentally conscious.

By pushing companies that sell products at your store to use smaller packaging, you've set a precedent that will have positive ramifications beyond your store. I hope that you will continue to use your influence to encourage large companies to make environmentally responsible choices such as these.

Thank you, Wal-Mart. Keep up the good work.
